Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it, and we say so. A changed fact, number, name, date or attribution always gets a correction note on the story and an entry here. A fixed typo does not.

• 2026-10-30. EPA extends Texas diesel sulfur waiver through Nov. 13 for older engines: The original story said the waiver would end on Oct. 24, 2026. EPA renewed it on Oct. 20, and the renewed waiver runs from Oct. 25 through Nov. 13, 2026. The headline, summary and body were updated, and the old end date is shown struck through.
